php-net-ipv6 software package provides Check and validate IPv6 addresses, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install php-net-ipv6
php-net-ipv6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the php-net-ipv6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep php-net-ipv6 *
You will get with php-net-ipv6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
